Drive - In Flop

So you all know by now how much I adore my friends.  One family in particular is one of those families that we can do absolutely nothing with and still have an amazing time.

So we made plans with this family and headed down to Riverside to have some dinner and head to the drive-in to see Monsters University and Man of Steel (the entire family, two movies, $15).

It was still a pretty hot day so the kids started off with some fun water time.  My kids can't get enough of the Webster boys.  Elijah on a regular basis pretends to go "bye bye" and tells us he's going to Nate's house.

After the pool we had some dinner and headed to the drive-in.  Tawni was a genius when she talked about getting there about an hour early...however, even that near hour wasn't enough so when we arrived they were already full.

We still wanted to something since the kids were so excited to see the movies so we headed bowling.  It was my kid's first time going and they seemed to really love it!  Elijah did this ridiculous victory dance with each roll of the ball and we discovered the kids did better when the parents didn't help.

Overall, the kids had a great time and the adults just enjoyed each others company.  It was a great way to spend a Saturday.
